Adsense Addict

My family used to run one of those wholesale business but sad to say that it never last since we don’t have the proper experience to run it.  Although we have a furniture business way back on the 90’s but I think that it is not relevant so I could say that we don’t have the proper knowledge.

I don’t think that it has something to do with not having a barcode scanner since I don’t think that it is needed on a developing wholesale store.  We could find a use for it if we have already established it.

We all read posts where bloggers make enough money per month that would last most people a year. This post i would like to let you know whats going on at AdsenseAddict and show you our monthly revenue and statistics for February.

Don’t worry, you can continue reading, there will be no pictures of checks shown thats for sure.

This blog is only about 7 weeks old, so there is still a lot of changes going on, trying to find what works and what does not.

In February i joined the affiliate marketing scene with Neverblueads. I decided on Neverblueads because of the wide range of affiliate marketing campaigns they have available and i like to try and stay loyal to one company if i can.

Another change made was i have scrapped the Scratchback widget and have
gone with ShowYourAdHere.com. The cost is the minimum price of only $5 per week,
which i think is reasonable. I might put a few more ad spaces up soon depending on the response. I did try and register with ProjectWonderful but was declined due to the age of the site, so i will give it another month and reapply.

With our other website Zipposuperstore.com we finally gave in and put up a few extra ads besides Adsense. We stayed away from flashy ads so the customer could concentrate on purchasing zippo lighters, so we will have to see how this affects sales. I have gone with just 2 gaming adverts which should hopefully go well on the zippo tricks pages.

So without further ado here is the stats for February

Zippo Sales Profit: $72.82AU

Adsense: $13.57

Shopping Ads: $16.51

Less hosting fess for 2 sites: – say $12AU

February i had a total profit of say $90.00AU.

Admittingly the bounce rate and time on site is high for adsenseaddict.com, but in March i will be trying a few different tricks to try and improve this, so make sure you sign up for our fortnightly newsletter

Well January is over, and i don’t know about you, but it has been a hetic month for us. January 15th was the launch of this new blog www.adsenseaddict.com. That make 2 sites we now run, this website and zipposuperstore.com.

Yeh but how much money did you make?

Sales in our Australian dropshipping site, www.zipposuperstore.com were average for this time of year. I suppose it is usually due to the fact that no one has much money to spend after Christmas. We had 6 sales, making us a profit of $86.95 for the month. Not bad for 30 minutes work!

Google Adsense was also a little slow only making us $12.12. Most of these clicks came mainly from our zippo tricks pages, but with the addition of adsenseaddict.com, hopefully this will improve. Since our new blog site is only 3 weeks old, the results should show soon.

Ebay – Gave up on Ebay last month due to their high fees. We might continue to use them occasionally for marketing purposes. Here is a tip – we use our store site name without the www and .com, so hopefully if the customer does not find a product they like, they might head on over to our online store or do a search on Google for us.

So after making $94.90 profit for the month, we had to spend $18 for the cost of the new website hosting and new domain name plus the zippo site hosting. So an overall profit of $76.90 is not too bad for us this time of year.

With the addition of adsenseaddict.com we can now try other revenue raising methods to make money online. Our zippo website was only using Google Adsense ads, as we didnt want to distract the customer from purchasing our products. Once this new website is established we can apply to Project Wonderful, Smorty etc and try other money making ideas.
