If you are a Twitter fan you might be interested in this Twitter plugin.

Twitter is a great tool for driving traffic to your blog. You simply post a “tweet” when you have updated your blog, and all your friends, followers and admirers will be instantly notified “bang” that’s instant traffic back to your blog. And even better, people can reply to your tweet, their followers can see their reply and before you know it, you have a viral stream of traffic back to your blog.

Don’t know about you, but i tend to forget to post at Twitter. That is where this Twitter plugin comes in. The plugin automatically posts a tweet every single time you update your blog and and the best part? These tweets link back to your blog.

Just one mouse click and you will activate this powerful plugin on your Wordpress blog. Enter your Twitter log in details, and you can even set your custom tweet message. Every time you post to your blog, the Twitter plugin will automatically post a tweet, complete with the full link back to your blog.

Once the plugin is activated you will see a Tweet My Blog widget in your admin sidebar menu. This widget will pull in your latest tweets and link them back your personal Twitter page.

Excellent, just the things I was looking , Guess I was too lazy to search for it.Its bit hard to manage all the networking sites and plug-ins like this come in very handy.

In addition to this you can use http://ping.fm to post to multiple microblogging sites, maximizing follower traffic.

I like your blog, BTW, monetizing for new media is a big part of what I am into, as well. Thanks for the great post.

We use the twitter plugin on our blog and find that it really does help to drive traffic through!

I have yet to install Twitter as I am not too sure what is its function. But you explain it well, the indirect traffic that is likely to flow into one’s blog from a simple update on Twitter.

By the way, this plugin sounds like something which I can use.

Well, finally someone has told me why I should bother with Twitter. I had it on my site for a while, but it seemed to slow things down…and I just couldn’t get why this was something I should bother with. The automated plug-in makes a lot more sense to me. Thanks for the information!

You can also set up your feed at Twitterfeed.com and have the same effect without a plugin slowing down the load time of your blog. I’m not saying your blog loads slow, but it’s a thought for others that may have this problem.

there is also a myspace plugin that does a similar thing for myspace.. its not an rss feed but it posts your blog to myspace

Thanks for the info! I will have to check it out. I tried to work twitter several months ago and just never got it. I decided a few days ago to give it another try since everyone is using it now. So I will be checking this out.
