This is my first video post using the Seesmic WP plugin (sorry it had to happen soon or later).

While there are many Mastercard ‘Priceless’ videos out there, Indecent Proposal would have to be my favorite.
I am sure most young guys have asked this question, but what about being the father?

Some easy ways to get more comments on your blog are by installing Wordpress comment plugins. Obviously two of the most popular WP comment plugins are CommentLuv which helps you get more comments by commenters by providing a titled link to their last blog post and the NoFollow Free plugin which removes the nofollow tag from your blog’s comments.
As I am always trying to improve my blog sites, I thought I would test out two plugins that will hopefully help get more visitors to leave a comment on my blogs.
WP Threaded Comment Plugin
The Threaded Comment Plugin enables users to reply on a existing comment, and the discussion will be displayed threaded or nested.
Lets look at what threaded comments are and how it can help us to get more comments on your blog. Comment threading connects comments with links such that each comment can be linked to the comment it is in reply to, ensuring future readers can more easily follow the conversation and add their constructive thoughts to the discussion. Similar to a forum page.
I understand the new WordPress 2.7 includes a lot of new comment functionality. Comments can be threaded, paged, etc. With WP 2.7 it is built in, but unfortunately, your theme must support it.
The WP Threaded Comment plugin like most plugins is easy to install and if you find your WP theme does not support threaded comments you could try this plugin. To be honest the only reason I am using the WP Threaded Comment plugin is that it was a recommended plugin to use with the Seemic plugin.
Seesmic WP Plugin
I have had this plugin installed for a while but have never got around to testing it out.
Seemic is much the same as Vimeo and Viddler. The Seesmic WP plugin allows commenters to leave a video comment. Using video comments add a new dimension when readers comment in two-way, threaded communication. Loic Le Meur’s owner of Seesmic, recently purchased Twhirl a leading 3rd party Twitter client and as I am a big fan of Twhirl, I thought I would start testing this plugin first.
The Seesmic plugin has some great features. The plugin allows for you to accept authenticated or anonymous video comments and moderate video comments exactly like text comments.
Another feature of the Seemic WP plugin is that you can record one or more Seesmic video’s to a post. (I have not used record a video post or a comment yet as I am not sure if you want to see my ugly melon on the screen).
I am also testing the Disqus Comment plugin on one of my other sites. Disqus makes commenting easier and more interactive, while connecting websites and commenters across a thriving discussion community. You can read my review on the Disqus Comment plugin here.
