Adsense Tools

Monday, June 30th, 2008

If you are anything like me you probably check your Google Adsense earnings page 20 times a day. I got sick of having to going to the Adsense page, logging in just to look for 2 seconds.

So i did some searching and found these handy little tools for checking your Adsense earnings. One is a desktop application and the other is an addon for Firefox.

Please Note: i cannot validate the security of these, so please take the usual precautions.

The first is a free tool called SynSense which is more of an AdSense monitoring tool. This sits in the tray and offers actualized AdSense stats as you hover your mouse over its icon. It’s a very nice tool for those which like to be informed on how their AdSense is doing at all times of the day. Once setup and running just right click on the icon in your tray, click accounts and your Adsense earnings page will be displayed.

Download SynSense here

If, however, you’re browsing content most of the time, and your tool of choice is the Firefox Internet browser, there’s an extension for this program that allows you to view the stats in your status bar.

Adsense Notifier displays your Adsense earnings on your Firefox status bar. It allows you to easily see your earnings at a glance instead of logging into the Adsense website multiple times a day. Again, this software is aware of Google’s 15 minute rule and enforces its usage, 15 minutes being the minimum time between updates.

The Google AdSense notifier for Firefox can be obtained from here.

Hopefully these tools will help with your Adsense addiction.

The Thirty Day Challenge pre-season is off and running and i have been lucky enough to have joined a team – The Magnificent Seven.

You do not need to join a team in The Thirty Day Challenge but i think it helps. Imagine being in contact with a group of people who are using exactly the same methods as you are at virtually the same time!

No waiting days for a reply from someone, as we are all in the same time zone. Just contact your group using the methods agreed upon ( skype, msn or yahoo messenger, facebook, twitter etc ) and i am sure someone else will be be going through the same thing or one of your team members has done it successfully and will be able to help.

The Magnificent Seven is a bunch of Aussies and 1 Scotsman living in New Zealand.

What is The Thirty Day Challenge?

How many hours have you spent searching on the net looking for ways to promote your site, then spent more hours reading Ebooks just to be stuck on one little problem? Then more hours on Google looking for fixes? Since i am new to blogging that’s exactly what i have been doing for the past five months!

The challenge is about making your first $10 online. For a full 30 days they will show you exactly how to start your own Internet business and generate your first income online without spending a dime. Every day you will recive a video tutorial showing you exactly step by step how to accomplish you goal. This is going to cost you nothing. The entire training program is free, and you won’t have to spend a thing to get your business started and begin making money.

Don’t worry about us trying to make money online all using the same niche. With TDC you can choose any niche you like but as a group we all have one goal – to help each other make money online.

Some of you are probably thinking why am i taking this challenge when i have numerous sites making money online already? Well, i have never had any training in affiliate marketing or advertising, so i thought it was about time i did and take my websites to the next level. All for free.

Why Use BuyPixads.com

Monday, June 16th, 2008

Recently i recived a comment about BuyPixAds.com and what does the customer gain from being put in a huge banner next to10 others, when the page holds the banners is not shown anywhere, other than on your BuyPixAds.com

I went to reply to this comment and next thing the reply was 2 pages long so i thought i would write a quick post about what i hope customers will gain from BuyPixAds.com.

Using BuyPixAds.com when you submit your logo or banner, you can specify a title and alt tag value for your site so this will help improve your rankings with search engines as all links will be counted as backlinks to your website or blog. Every month i will also post a list of the customers on a PR3 site getting you even more backlinks for your website.

My plan was to start a complete web-ring of sites for website owners to get better rankings and more traffic. I just started a web banner exchange site WebBannerz.com and was thinking of a special offer were if you pay on one site you get full rights on all the other sites free.

What do customers get using other paid advertising methods?

You pay $10 – $15 a month to purchase banner space or text links and what do you get out of this? And where does the site put your banner, logo or link? Most way down the bottom of the page! We are asking $3 a month and the links are counted as backlinks to your site.

How much do customers spend on advertising per month using conventional advertising?

I have lost count on how much i have spent so far but i know i haven’t got a good return ROI.
When you pay some sites you are only shown on the one website, with our sites you pay for one and you get shown on other sites as well.

Over the next few months i will be spending money on PPC, adtoll and project wonderful etc adverising buypixads.com so hopefully this will attract visitors. The site also has a blog where i will be posting about unconventional advertising methods.

So to be honest what does the customer gain? Only time will tell i suppose.

BuyPixAds.com

This is phase 2 of my evil plan to take on the smaller banner exchange sites. I have just started a new website called www.buypixads.com

This takes my total number of sites to four, with Zipposuperstore.com, AdsenseAddict.com and WebBannerz.com being the other three.

Obviously my main focus is to make money online, but here at AdsenseAddict the goal is to help others not only earn money online but also help them find ways to market and advertise their site and attract quality visitors.

WebBannerz.com was phase one of my plan to help people advertise their site using banner exchanges. But as you know there are a lot of free banner exchange sites out there, but i felt most lacked something.

That is where BuyPixAds.com is different. I call it Unconventional Advertising – The Pixelated Advertising Site. You purchase pixel ad space on our home page and the price is calculated on the number of pixels your logo or banner occupies.

Don’t worry, it does not cost $1 a pixel or anything crazy like that. We are charging $0.02 per
10×10 pixel block. So for example if you would like to purchase a 125×125 ad space, it would cost just under $3US per month.

It works out to be less than 10 cents a day! So if you are looking for a different way to advertise what have you got to lose.

The following sizes are accepted, 100×100, 125×125, 200×200 and 468×60 logos or banners. Prices are per month. And please no porn or nudity pictures.

Besides the benefit of gaining traffic when submitting your logo or banner, you can specify a title and alt tag value for your site so hopefully BuyPixAds.com will also help improve your rankings with search engines as all links will be counted as backlinks to your website or blog.

WebBannerz.com

Friday, June 6th, 2008

Last post i mentioned about The Thirty Day Challenge and how i was going to start a new website in a different niche. I can then use what i learn from The Thirty Day Challenge and try this advice out on this new site.

Well it is almost ready. So let the controversy begin!

WebBannerz.com is phase one of my plan (insert evil laugh here) to take on the smaller banner exchange sites. (don’t worry Entrecard i am years away from where you are). I am doing most of the programming myself, and dont really know what i am doing, so who knows where this will site will end up. The first thing i need to do is change the template and there is 1 or 2 coding problems so i am in for some late nights, that much i do know :)

First let me say, i know, i know, another bloody 125 x 125 banner exchange site, but i thought i would give it a go as i think the niche is relatively small with only Entrecard.com the front runner so far. I also thought with most niches you usually have the top sites ( say Google, Yahoo and MSN) sharing traffic, so maybe there is room for WebBannerz.com.

But i need a bit of help please.

WebBannerz.com is still in the first stages of testing. Most banner exchange sites are not really community orientated, again Entrecard is way in front here. I have a few ideas on a community banner exchange site but i am not sure if i am heading in the right direction.

So please, if you have any ideas or advice on what bloggers would like to see in a community banner exchange website please feel free to leave a comment. Maybe free text link exchange? More wiki pages? Another Digg or Myspace for a specific niche? Just let me know what you need. Remember it is all about backlinks.

Please note: this is not a autosurf program, it is a banner exchange site. You copy a simple HTML code and insert it into your wordpress widget. Our main focus is quality, not quantity traffic. You only exchange banners with-in the same categories, so you can target your visitors. Through different categories and by underlining specific keywords, you can target your ad exposures within a specific audience, and dramatically increase the effectiveness of your campaign.

PS: More BIG NEWS next post.
